Health and Safety Solution is delighted to be able to announce that our organisation now has a presence in the WA market.

This has come about through HSS parent company IPAR, successfully acquiring Active Injury Management effective 16th December 2011. Active is a leading Perth based workplace rehabilitation and injury prevention provider.

The acquisition of Active by IPAR significantly strengthens both businesses. It enhances IPAR’s and HSS’ national geographical footprint and suite of services, whilst also enabling Active’s capability to deliver it’s products and programs around Australia.

We are particularly pleased to announce that Active’s Managing Director Kylie Forrest will take the role of WA State Manager for IPAR and Active. We believe that this appointment will significantly strengthen IPAR’s management depth and enhance and enable service provision to our national customers.

HSS has expanded its Employee Assistance Services

Over the past 2 months, Health & Safety Solutions has expanded its Employee Assistance Services not just from our Newcastle Office but also from our Sydney offices. In addition to this we have recently employed a male psychologist in our Newcastle team which provides us with more variety within our psych team to support our growing EAP services.

OHS Risk Management Courses for Supervisors and Managers

HSS Looking to run OHS Risk Management Courses for Supervisors and Managers based on 2012 legislation.

With the impending changes in OHS legislation in NSW set to commence on 1/1/12, Health & Safety Solutions have been working with local legal professionals in developing an informative guide for supervisors and managers in the new OHS legislation.

Based on the previous OHS Rick Management for Supervisors and Managers course, we have modified this course to include details about supervisors/managers obligations under the new legislation and how to start to implement changes for compliance within their workplace. We are seeking expressions of interest to attend these courses over the next few months. HSS Sydney Offices Relocate

In order to accommodate the continued growth of our NSW business the Sydney and Western Sydney offices of HSS, and its parent company IPAR, have been relocated.

As of 1st August our Sydney CBD office will now be located at Level 9, 5 Hunter St Sydney. This central location will prove convenient and simple to access for all clients.

Our Western Sydney office has been relocated from Auburn to Level 1, 107 Phillip St Parramatta. This new office which is easily accessible by public transport has significantly more space than our auburn office which will mean greater levels of comfort for our customers and staff.
