How do I comply with the current OHS laws?
In order to comply with the current OHS laws there are many things a company must do. These inlcude establishing OHS policies and procedures, completing risk assessments regularly and establishing consultation mechanisms with staff.
In short there is no quick solution to complying with such laws, however, with guidance from Health & Safety Solutions’ OHS consultants we can assist companies in achieving such a goal.
What is the role of a rehabilitation provider?
A rehabilitation provider is an independent party involved in assisting injured workers with their return to work. The aim of the providers involvement is to coordinate an injured worker’s rehabilitation file in a manner which assists them to return back to work in a safe and durable manner.
The rehabilitation provider will liaise with all other parties involved in the return to work process including: the injured worker, the employer, the insurer, treating doctor, etc. There are a variety of services which the provider can provide to achieve the above goals.
